Saul Hudson, better known by his stage name Slash, was born on July 23, 1965. He is a British-American musician and songwriter. Slash is the leading guitarist of the American rock band Guns N’ Roses. He formed his side project Slash’s Snake-pit later. In 1996, after leaving Guns N’ Roses, Slash co-founded the Supergroup Velvet Revolver, which introduced him as a lead performer in the mid to late 2000s. He returned to Guns N’ Roses in 2016, almost 20 years after he had left. He owns more than 100 guitars. Slash prefers his Custom Les Paul and states it as “the best all-around guitar for me.”
